Welcome
I invite you to individual therapy for adults. I work in Gestalt which is a humanistic-existential psychotherapy approach. I am a psychotherapist in training.
I offer psychotherapeutic support to people who experience recurring difficulties in daily functioning, in relationships and have a sense of impasse, experience emotional pain, a sense of inability to change, a need for help.
How can I help you
In the therapy room, I use my own life experience, in which I have faced the pain of bereavement, loss of loved ones, long-term cancer of a relative, difficulties in forming satisfying relationships, in making decisions, changing moods, developing a sense of agency and self-reliance, the ability to express emotions in a way that builds rather than destroys. All of these experiences and many others have brought me closer to understanding the nature of the human experience, and have taught me to be present with suffering, which in turn helps me better understand and support another person. I have also redefined what I believe in my life, and I invite you to meet me in a creative dialogue on the philosophy of life and spirituality.
Gestalt – relational humanistic therapy
During the therapy meetings, I work on the basis of kind attentiveness, openness to the other and presence, which support you to get in touch with yourself, to gain a sense of agency in your life and help reduce the suffering that accompanies us in life and contribute to improving connections with the world and with others. Any emotions we are struggling with, the difficulty of expressing them and the painful feeling of being stuck are what can find expression in the therapeutic process. Parts of you that never could, never had the opportunity to come to the light of day, never could be heard, are also invited to meet at the office in therapy.
The therapeutic support I offer consists of accompanying the person in therapy to arrive at the point of understanding of who they are and how they function in the world, in their close environment, and in their relationships with others. Regular sessions and deepening of the therapy process support the person in therapy to make increasingly conscious decisions about how he or she wants to be in this world, how to live a more fulfilling life. I believe that everyone has the potential within us to be able to live the way we want to live, not just as individuals tossed about by the powerful currents of life; perhaps the crisis you are experiencing right now is the beginning of something important in your life and an opportunity for change.
I am open to diversity and create conditions for everyone regardless of gender, religion, orientation and nationality to meet with me in an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding. I use my own experience: in my life I have experienced and am experiencing the power of a therapeutic meeting and the power of creativity that comes from it, as well as the knowledge I acquire during intensive psychotherapeutic training (I completed a two-year Basic Course of Gestalt Therapy in Rzeszow, and am currently continuing my training at the second stage of the School of Gestalt Psychotherapy in Warsaw ). I have also been practicing meditation, including mindfulness, mindfulness and mindfulness practices, for 12 years.
My education and experience
On a daily basis, I am also a translator of Gestalt therapeutic workshops in English. Over the past few years I have spent hundreds of hours translating and accompanying others in therapeutic processes, while learning from some of the best Gestalt trainers, psychotherapists and supervisors in Europe. This experience is also present with me in the office.
To create a safe environment for my work and to ensure the quality of the therapy I offer, in accordance with ethical standards, I subject my work to regular supervision.
I invite to sign up for a consultation session to see whether you would like to take part in a transformation journey with me. Go to my profile’s calendar.
